As I practice with my swords, I think of what I will do to the alien cats when I get my hands on them. A smile blossoms on my face. They might have thought my planet would be like all the other ones they’ve so easily conquered.

They were wrong.

Juordin’s scientists think they’ve found a way to kill the vicious creatures. And although this won’t stop my people from slowly dying, it will give me revenge. It will make certain they can never do this to another planet.

As I look at my warrior, my heart squeezes painfully. *First I will kill the cats, my love, then I will find a way to save you.* My blade glints in the early morning light.
