Jules Verne (1828–1905) was a French author, best known for his novels of Science Fiction. Verne wrote about space, air, and underwater travel before air travel and practical submarines were invented, and before practical means of space travel had been devised. Verne is often referred to as the "Father of Science Fiction", a title sometimes shared with Hugo Gernsback and H. G. Wells. This collection includes his more famous novels, like Five Weeks in a Balloon, A Journey Into the Interior of the Earth, From the Earth to the Moon, Round the Moon, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, Around the World in Eighty Days, The Mysterious Island & Robur the Conqueror.
