Jill Marie Yutaka, daughter of Ronnie and Angela Yutaka is now sole owner and skipper of the traveling membrane named, The Empress. Trish Wilson has joined Jill to perform the daily operations of The Empress and to take charge of the ever-increasing clientele. The Earth year is 20,979 A.D., and Jill is twenty-seven and Trish is twenty-one Earth years old. The Empress has prospered in the last six years and the list of customers and universes they now visit increases daily. Here are a few excerpts from the novel to motivate your desire to read book two of this series.

“This is IFTT control to The Empress, attention Jill Yutaka. We have approved your flight plan request for travel to universe number three for James twenty-first birthday celebration. Your engagement sequence program is now active. Engage at your convenience. Have a great trip. Frederica spoke to the IFTT commander and said, “This is Frederica, the senior member of The Empress’s crew. We are teleporting the top layer of James birthday cake to your ready room. Please enjoy, and thanks for your assistance over the years. This is my final voyage aboard The Empress and I just wanted to thank you all. Have a great day. Jill and Trish also thank you, and wish you and your family the very best. Jill will send you a return flight plan later today for your approval. This is Frederica Wilson aboard The Empress, signing off.”

“Jill double-checked the computer and IFTT destination programs and then readied her crew for time travel to universe number three. Jill placed her finger on the green engage button, spoke to the computer, listened for the ready status signal, looked at Frederica sitting in the co-pilots seat and then begins to speak to the computer as she presses the green engage button. Computer, did I properly set the….”

“The IFTT commander watched The Empress’s electronic signature disappear from his control console. He watched the screen expecting that a tiny electronics glitch had prevented the update of the vessel display on his screen. The electronic signature did not return.”

Oh quit the damn crying, Ronnie has killed off other main characters. Nevertheless, this time your assumptions are all wrong. No, Ronnie did not kill off The Empress; He would not do that to you, his faithful readers. This travel vessel and its crew are very special to Ronnie and he hopes to write for many years about The Empress. Relax; Ronnie is writing volume III as we chitchat.
