Here we are, at the end of book six!
When Sean at Red Dog Press offered me a six book deal for the Stonebridge series, I snapped his hand off, thinking myself very lucky. I have loved writing each book, and it has been absolutely humbling to have found a readership that cares for the characters as much as I do.
Adam and Colin have changed so much over the course of the series. Listening to The Curious Dispatch of Daniel Costello made me realise how green behind the gills they were, purposefully so, and it’s lovely to see them mature and find their place in the world.
I’m very lucky that, thanks to YOU, the series can continue, and the boys will still be a fixture in my life. This is down to you wonderful readers, who continue to support me with your kindness. With thousands of authors and millions of books on offer, it still blows me away that you are choosing to spend your hard-earned cash on words that I’ve written.
I’m also hugely thankful to Isis Audio and Stephen Armstrong for bringing this particular little corner of Northern Ireland to life through the audiobooks. I don’t think I’ve ever felt as proud of anything in my life as when I listened to that opening chapter of Danny Costello.
I hope you continue to enjoy your trips to Stonebridge.
Love,
Chris
