When Aleesha got home, she still couldn’t believe what was going on. All she wanted to do was go beat Noelle’s ass. She didn’t want to believe that some rat might be having her husband’s child, when they didn’t even have a child together, and it was eating her up on the inside. She needed a blunt and a female companion to talk to, so she called her best friend, Lala.
“Hey bitch, what are you doing? I need to talk to you ASAP,” she said into the phone before Lala could even say hello.
“What’s wrong? Is everything ok?” Lala asked, sensing something wasn’t right with her best friend.
“Can you get over here within like, the next 15 minutes?”
“Yeah I can.”
“Ok good, and you might want to bring a bottle.”
“Aight I got you,” Lala said before ending the call.
Twenty minutes later, Lala arrived at Aleesha’s house with a bottle of Grey Goose. Aleesha already had 6 blunts rolled and was lighting the first one when Lala came through the door.
“Damn bitch, I thought you was never coming,” Aleesha said, inhaling the King Louie Kush.
“Bitch I’m five minutes late, but what the fuck is going on?”
“So you know how Savage’s dumb ass is locked up and I went to go visit him today, right?” Aleesha said, taking the bottle of Grey Goose and pouring them both a cup. She handed Lala her cup and they took a seat together on the couch.
“Yeah, what is his crazy ass in there for this time?” Lala took a sip.
“Domestic violence and spousal abuse,” Aleesha answered, downing her cup while getting ready to pour her another one.
“Whoa!” Lala exclaimed, stunned. “What the fuck, how?” she asked, lighting another blunt. The way this conversation was going, she needed her own.
“Because of that bitch ass ex of his,” Aleesha said with hurt in her voice. “I didn’t even stay long enough to find out the whole story. I was about to go beat her ass ‘til he stopped me.”
“Why?”
“Because the bitch is pregnant, and the baby might be his.”
Lala just looked at her best friend in disbelief. “No the fuck she ain’t.”
“Yes she is,” Aleesha said as she shook her head. “I can tell by the look he gave me that she is. I was just so hurt,” she said as tears began forming in her eyes. “I told his ass don’t call me until he gets out. I thought things would be different, but they’re not, and when he does get out, I’m leaving his ass,” she said as she downed the vodka and poured herself another cup.
“Aww poor baby,” Lala said, coddling Aleesha. “Look, I know you’re hurting right now, but you guys are married and you have to be with him through better or worse. I know you love him too much to just let him go. You guys are on your way to building an empire and this is just a bump in the road that God put there,” she stated. “And the baby MIGHT be his, it’s not a for sure thing. I know it’s going to take time to get through, but don’t just up and leave Savage like that.”
Aleesha knew she was right. Yes she was hurt, but she did love Savage more than anything and wanted them to work. “You right,” she said, letting out a huge sigh. She relit the blunt in her hand and took a hit. “Man this shit is just so fucked up. I hate him being in there and I miss him coming home every night. I even miss his ass getting on my last nerve,” she said, finally cracking a smile as she guzzled her cup and poured her more vodka.
“I know. But he’s going to be out in no time, maybe a few months max. Did he say if she pressed charges?” Lala asked, snatching the bottle away from Aleesha before she downed all the liquor.
“I don’t know, I didn’t ask. I know where the bitch stays though. We can go ask her ourselves,” Aleesha suggested, getting hyped up.
“No,” Lala stated firmly. “You’re gonna sit ya ass here and wait for Savage to call, which I’m sure he will to try and plead his case. Y’all need to talk and work through this shit. Marcus and I will handle that. Just give me her address.”
“Okay,” Aleesha replied with a relieved look on her face.
“Oh, guess who I ran into the other day?” Lala asked.
“Who?”
“Mila. And guess who she was with?” Lala countered as she took a sip from her cup.
“Who?” Aleesha said as she hit her blunt again.
“Cali’s baby momma,” Lala said as a disgusted look spread across Aleesha’s face. “I didn’t even recognize Mila at first with that brown weave she got in. And I never realized how much they look alike, especially now since Mila’s hair is the same color as hers.”
“Yeah I told her she should have kept that shit red. That was her signature,” Aleesha said as she hit her blunt, “and I told Cali that same thing. I was like, ‘What if you found out they was half-sisters or some shit?’ He was just like, ‘Man that shit ain’t even funny.’ I was thinking in my head like, ‘Oh yes the fuck it is.’ If only he knew,” she said as she and Lala shared a laugh.
“Yeah, but she was just acting brand new,” Lala stated.
“Wait, who?” Aleesha asked, confused.
“Mila,” Lala answered as she relit her blunt and hit it.
“What’chu mean?”
“Cuz, when she introduced us she was just like, ‘Wassup, La. This is Passion, my sister and Cali’s baby momma.’ I was just like, ‘Hey.’ And she told her like, ‘This is Aleesha’s best friend.’ And they just smirked and shit. I looked at her like bitch,” Lala said with an annoyed look on her face.
“Oh fake ass,” Aleesha interrupted.
“Right,” Lala said as she nodded her head in agreement, “then she was just like, ‘Did you hear what happened with Cali?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah everyone heard. That shit shocked everybody.’ And she was just like, ‘It’s crazy how everybody say they love and care for him but me and his girl are the only ones who’s been up there and stay up there with him.’ I must have looked at her ass so sideways.”
“Oh wow. And who is his girl?” Aleesha asked, taking a gulp from her cup.
“Supposedly that bitch,” Lala answered, hitting her blunt.
“He was never with that bitch, and even still he wouldn’t claim her as his girl, she will always and forever just be his baby momma,” Aleesha stated cockily.
“Exactly, but wait, let me finish,” Lala said as she took a hit from her blunt. “So I was like, ‘Well I’ve been up there to see him and so was twenty other mothafuckas, why you talkin’ out the side of yo mouth.’ And I was like, ‘If Leelee was able to be up there, you know she would have.’ She was like ‘Dang, Lala, I wasn’t talkin’ about you guys, calm down.’ I was just like, ‘Bitch I thought you didn’t even like her, why you all buddy buddy with her now.’ She was just like, ‘No, I never said that.’ I was just like, ‘Okay.’ I just turned around and started walking away. Then she yelled out, ‘See you later, Lala, since you can’t even say bye!’ I just chunked up my deuces and kept it pushin’.”
“You a foo’ best friend,” Aleesha said while laughing.
“No, but you know I don’t like that fake shit. She was the main one calling Passion a ho, and talking about she don’t like her. So I’m like don’t start acting fake now. You too grown for all that,” Lala said as she guzzled down the last of her Grey Goose.
“That bitch will never change. She has her fake moments but shit, that’s Mila,” Aleesha said, finishing her fourth cup and hitting her blunt.
“Yeah well I ain’t wit’ all that shit. She gone fuck around and cross the wrong one.”
“Yeah, she’ll learn soon enough that everything ain’t a game. Life is gone hit her ass something crucial.”
“Well, you reap what you sow,” Lala said, taking a drag from her blunt.
“Amen, and toast to that.,” Aleesha said as she and Lala toasted their empty glasses.
“Oh, and you know she’s fucking around with Smurf,” Lala stated matter-of-factly.
“Woww!” Aleesha stared at Lala wide-eyed.
“Yes bitch,” Lala said as she shook her head up and down.
“What the fuck. Since when?”
“I don’t know. I was about to beat her ass at first when I first found out though.”
“Wait, what the fuck. When, and why?” Aleesha asked as she set her empty cup on the coffee table.
“When you were on your honeymoon. I had just got my hair done and Marcus drove right by me with the bitch right in the front seat. I was like, the fuck? It just didn’t look right.”
“So when were you about to fight her?”
“He came to the house with her in the car at three in the morning. As soon as he walked through the door I was on his head,” Lala said as she hit her roach, then set it on the coffee table. “I was like, ‘Oh hell nah. I know you wasn’t with this bitch all day.’ He was like, ‘Blood, what the fuck you trippin’ for? Smurf got her car and she’s been needing rides.’ I was like, ‘What the fuck he got her car for, and why the fuck couldn’t she call someone else for a ride?’ He was like, ‘Cuz they fucking around. Smurf’s car is in the shop and he asked me to take her around, not her.’ I was like, ‘Yeah right.’ He was like, ‘I swear on everything I love. That’s yo friend, I wouldn’t stoop that fucking low. You can call Smurf right now.’ I just looked at him like okay.”
“So did you call Smurf?” Aleesha asked, glad that she wasn’t the only one with drama in her life right now.
“You damn right I did,” Lala exclaimed. “Smurf confirmed what he told me though. He was just like, ‘Yeah my bad, Lala. I didn’t know it would get the nigga in trouble.’ All I could say is that they all some hoes. Smurf is engaged, ain’t he?”
“Damn that’s crazy, but yeah to his baby momma,” Aleesha confirmed.
“These niggas ain’t shit,” Lala countered.
“Right,” Aleesha said, lighting another blunt.
They talked for another whole hour, until Aleesha got restless and wanted to take a nap. She gave Lala Noelle’s address, and sent her on her way. Just as she was beginning to rest her eyes, she received a call from Savage and stayed up to talk to him so they could work their issues out.
