On The Other Side of Town...

Savage was at In The Stars, giving a customer a wax dab when he heard an all too familiar voice.

“Hey, Savage,” Noelle said nonchalantly as she walked up to the wax station. He couldn’t believe this bitch had the audacity to come to his shop. He just hoped and prayed he wouldn’t end up back in jail today because of her.

“What the fuck do you want?” Savage asked, not caring that everyone started staring at them.

“I need to talk to you in private.” She spoke in a hushed tone, trying not to let everyone hear their business.

“Last time we tried that, I got put in jail. Whatever you need to say you can say right here.”

“No, I think I need to talk to you in private, it’s about the baby.”

Savage led Noelle back into his office. He hoped whatever she was about to say wasn’t bullshit. He took a seat at his desk and she sat on the couch opposite of him.

“I really apologize for all that happened between us,” Noelle started to say. “I didn’t mean to have you put in jail. Honestly, that wasn’t even part of the plan,” she confessed.

“What you mean ‘part of the plan’?” Savage asked with uncertainty in his voice.

She shook her head before she looked back at him. “I’ll keep it 100 right now. Your so called best friend is not to be trusted.”

“What the fuck are you talkin’ about?” he asked, immediately getting furious.

“I don’t know what’s goin’ on right now, but it’s becoming too much and I don’t want to be involved in it anymore,” she said with fear in her voice.

“Man, what are you talkin’ about?” he asked again, confused.

“Marcus. That nigga is and has been schemin’ on you for the longest,” Noelle stated. “I honestly don’t know how your ass has missed it. And truth is, me and him have been fuckin’ around for years and that nigga is grimy. Me, and every other bitch he hooked you up wit’ was just a set up.”

“Man, you’ve been lyin’ since I met you. So how do I know this ain’t some shit you makin’ up?” Savage asked, not believing anything she was telling him.

“Look, you don’t have to believe me. I’m tryna warn yo dumb ass. I bet you didn’t even know he tried to fuck your wife.”

Savage’s face instantly became flushed, and he could feel his temperature rising. “Man, get out. Bitch I swear you just love drama.”

“Okay, but I tried to warn ya slow ass,” Noelle said as she got up from the couch and headed toward the door. As soon as she got to the door, she turned around to give Savage a few more thoughts to ponder on. “Oh yeah, I had an abortion. The baby wasn’t yours anyway, it was his. I was already pregnant when we fucked. Oh, and you need to warn your girl about Mila. I’m pretty sure she would have been cut that bitch off when you smashed.”

“Get the fuck out!” Savage yelled.

Noelle left his office and left out the shop. She hoped that the little bit of warning she tried to give Savage registered.

Meanwhile, Savage sat back in the chair, wondering why Noelle would even come to him with this information. How the fuck did she know about me and Mila, he thought as he tried to calm his nerves. But the more he sat thinking about it, the more furious he became. He didn’t want to believe anything she had said, but deep down in his gut he knew she was telling the truth. It had all started to make sense to him now.

About a year ago, Aleesha and Lala went on a weekend getaway with a couple of their other female friends. And of course niggas being niggas, Savage and Marcus had their own little weekend extravaganza. They invited a couple of their homeboys over to Marcus’s, who also invited some females over. One of the women who ending up coming over was Milasia. They had drugs, liquor, and food, and everyone was there to have a good time.

All that night, Milasia kept flirting with Savage and sending him little hints, but he didn’t think anything of it because she had been flirting with everyone else. Savage ended up getting sloppy drunk, and Milasia volunteered to help him to the room. As soon as they got to the bedroom, Milasia seduced him by sucking his dick and they ended up fucking. He knew he shouldn’t have fucked her for the simple fact that she and Aleesha were so close, but he was too drunk and wasn’t in his right mind enough to stop it and luckily she never spoke on it. The next morning when he woke up though, Milasia was gone and so was a whole band of hundreds. He thought he was so drunk he had already stashed it, but the money never came up accounted for. He had only told Marcus about what happened that night, and as he sat and recapped on their conversation, he realized now that he was set up.

“Nigga, I really fucked up last night,” Savage had said as he and Marcus sat around the living room smoking a blunt.

“How?” Marcus asked vaguely.

“I fucked Mila,” Savage regretfully admitted.

“Nigga, everybody fucks Mila, that’s what she was there for.”

“Nigga what you mean,” Savage asked with a bewildered look on his face. “That’s my girl’s friend. That shit would kill her.”

“She won’t find out ‘cause Mila got what she wanted,” Marcus stated. “That bitch is about cash and she ain’t stupid enough to ever step to Aleesha about it, unless it’s gonna benefit putting even more money in her pockets.”

“Nigga you better hope so,” Savage said with a sigh.

“Nah, nigga, you better hope so,” Marcus had said with a laugh.

Savage didn’t pay attention to the little things Marcus said until now. He left the shop on a new mission, to find out exactly how much scheming his so-called best friend was doing on him.
