Black Friday

––––––––

Savage was on his way to the airport by one o’clock in the morning and Aleesha was riding shotgun to spend a few more minutes with him. She didn’t know when she would see him next since he was working in the studio more and more now, so she tried to make the most out of any time she could get.

Savage took a glance at his wife and felt guilty leaving her knowing she had days of family activities planned. He was also surprised at how easily she let him go because it wasn’t like her. Usually, they would argue, he would pipe her down real good and promise her some gifts, and then she would give him the okay. Either another nigga had her attention or her relationship with Sensi was more serious than he thought. Stop overthinking shit, he kept telling himself.

“What’s wrong, babe? Why you got that look on your face?” Aleesha asked as if she could read Savage’s mind.

“Man, Leelee, if you really don’t want me to go let me know,” he said, taking a quick glance at her. “I know it always seem like I’m puttin’ this music shit before you and my kids, but I’m doin’ this for us.”

“I know, babe. And if I didn’t want you to go I wouldn’t be riding with you. I understand,” she coolly stated.

“So you not mad?” he skeptically asked as he continued taking quick glances at her while he drove.

“No, why would I be mad?” she curiously asked as she tilted her head to the side.

“Mannnn,” Savage said as he rubbed the left side of his face and shook his head. “Usually we have to argue and the whole nine.”

Aleesha shrugged her shoulders and stared straight ahead. “Well, like I always tell you, we’re never going to argue in front of my children. And I know we haven’t been on the best terms,” she said, looking over at him, “but I’m tired of the constant disagreements about shit that doesn’t matter and I just want my husband back.”

“Damn,” he said with disappointment. “I didn’t realize shit was that bad until I heard you say it. I can pass this up, babe. However we need to fix us, we can start right now.”

“Babe, I know how much this means to you and I would never want to stop your dreams. I see how much dedication you put into your work when I’m in the studio with you and I love that. I love you, and I mean it ain’t as bad as it could be,” Aleesha reasoned. “We gon’ be good, and I would hate myself if I let you pass this up. Plus, I know my presents are going to be extravagant,” she said, smiling as she winked at him.

“I knew there was a catch,” Savage said with a chuckle.

“You know I like gifts, babe,” Aleesha said as they shared a laugh.

“So what stores you and Lala ‘bout to hit up?”

“Knowing her, each and every one of them. I’m just getting the twins some stuff.”

“Ain’t no ‘some stuff’ with you,” he playfully mocked her. “You ‘bout to cash out at them stores.”

Aleesha laughed. “So, my babies deserve it. I can’t help it that I spoil them.”

“Yeah, you deserve it too,” Savage said, smiling at her before he looked down at the dashboard. “Damn, I need to put some gas in here.”

“You got time, get off the freeway and go to the gas station.”

“Aight.”

Savage used the next exit and got off the freeway. He made a right, and thankfully for him there was a gas station on the corner. He pulled up to a pump, parked the car and turned the ignition off. “You want something out of here?” he asked as he took his seat belt off.

“Nah, I’m good babe.”

“Okay.” Savage got out the car and went into the store.

Aleesha sat and watched Savage while he moved around inside. She stared his muscular physique up and down and could feel herself getting wet. She loved the way he walked around with his chest out, and how well his tattoos complimented his skin. She felt herself getting hornier by the second and she knew she had to act now. So she got out of the car and walked into the store. By this time, Savage was at the counter and was about to pay for the gas and a few other items he picked up. He didn’t notice her until she walked up to him.

“I thought you didn’t want nothin’?” he said.

“I don’t. Meet me in the bathroom,” she whispered to him.

“Right now?”

Yes daddy, right now,” she seductively whispered before walking away.

Savage already knew what time it was. He loved how spontaneous she was and even more so because she was a freak. He hurriedly paid for the items and met his wife in the restroom.

When Savage walked in, Aleesha was wiping everything down. Even though the bathroom was surprisingly clean, she knew not to take any chances.

Savage locked the door behind him and unbuckled his pants, letting them fall around his ankles.

“Take them pants off and bend over the sink,” he instructed her.

Aleesha did as she was told and had her pants around her ankles and was bent over the sink within thirty seconds.

Savage walked up to her massaging his already erect penis. “How you want it, mommy?”

Aleesha looked back at him. “I want you to beat it up. But make it quick, I don’t want you to miss your flight.”

“I got you,” Savage said with a smirk. He spread open Aleesha’s cheeks and steered his dick into her already wet and warm inviting hole. He gave it to her slow at first but after a few pumps he began pounding away.

“Yessss, fuck me daddy,” Aleesha moaned out as she grabbed the sides of the sink.

“You like takin’ this dick?” he asked as he continued to stroke in and out of her.

“Yes!” she screamed.

Savage loved watching Aleesha in the mirror. It was so sexy to him when she would bite down on her bottom lip and her eyes would roll to the back of her head. It almost made him cum quicker than he wanted so he abruptly stopped. He stood there for a few seconds before he was wildly stroking in and out of her again. “You want me to do that thing you like?” he whispered to her.

“Yess,” she moaned out as she nodded her head.

Savage took his left thumb and played with Aleesha’s asshole before sticking it in and fingering it. Then he reached around her with his right hand and began playing with her clit. He bent over her and began kissing her on her neck and she began coming uncontrollably.

“Mmmmmm,” Aleesha moaned out loud. He continued to pump in and out of her while he played with her until she couldn’t take anymore. “Cum inside of me baby,” she moaned.

“You ready for me to cum?” he whispered seductively.

“Yess,” she cried out.

“Shiiiittttttt!” Savage yelled as he came. The two stood hunched over the sink, spent. Savage moved first and grabbed some paper towels to wipe himself off. Aleesha grabbed some feminine wipes out of her purse and did the same. They both were pulling and buckling their pants up as they walked out the restroom.

The store attendant just smiled at the couple as they walked out the store and as soon as the couple was out the door they began laughing.

“You think he knows?” Aleesha jokingly asked as she opened the car door to get inside.

“Hell yeah, you were hella loud,” Savage said, laughing while opening the gas tank. He filled the car up with gas and after that they were back on the freeway.

Once they arrived at the airport it was time for the couple to say their goodbyes. Lala was already there for Aleesha so after seeing Savage’s plane pull off the ladies were on their way to go shopping. And as soon as his plane was in the air, Savage put his headphones in and tuned out the world to prepare himself for work.

***

Savage arrived in New Orleans a little after eight in the morning. For the first time ever Mac was on time picking him up, so Savage knew it was really time to get to work. When they arrived at the studio Asaru was already in the recording booth, freestyling to one of Savage’s sample beats.

“How long he been goin’ in?” Savage asked Mac as they stood watching him flow.

“Shit, since he first got here. This nigga straight murdered like 20 beats,” Mac casually stated.

“Damn, no lie?” Savage asked, looking at Mac surprised.

“No lie,” Mac replied, turning to look Savage straight in the eyes. “He just been fuckin’ around, but he still been spittin’ hot shit. He was waitin’ to see what yo next move was gon’ be.”

“Aight, I got the perfect beat for this nigga. Let’s get him out the booth real quick.” Savage and Mac took a seat at his sound board and Savage cut the beat off. “Ay nigga, come holla at me real quick,” he said into the microphone that projected into the recording booth.

“Fa sho,” Asaru said, taking his headphones off. He made his way out of the booth, grabbed a chair and sat in the middle of Savage and Mac, facing them. “Damn, I’m being all disrespectful.” Asaru sat up in his seat and extended his hand out to Savage. “I’m Asaru.”

“Shit, no disrespect, I know who you are nigga,” Savage said as they exchanged handshakes. “So what made you come to the five?”

“I was talking to Aleesha about my music one day—”

“Wait, Aleesha who?” Savage asked, sitting up in his chair.

“Yo wife? You are married to Aleesha Meldrick, right?”

“It’s Williams now. How you know my wife?” Savage asked. You could hear the hostility in his voice.

“Ay, no disrespect bro,” Asaru said, putting his hands up in defense. “It ain’t even like that. Aleesha and I go way back. She never mentioned it to you?”

“Hell naw!” Savage angrily exclaimed.

“Well, that’s a good thing. She goes by the rules,” Asaru stated.

“What you mean?” Savage asked, becoming even more hostile.

“Nothing like that,” Asaru said, laughing, “calm down. When you have connections with my family you don’t speak on that shit, for everybody’s sake. But call her, she’ll probably explain it better for you.”

Savage took out his phone, put his code in and immediately scanned his call log for his wife’s number. He touched the phone icon by her name and it began calling her number. It rang for a few seconds before she answered.

“Hey babe, how was the flight?” Aleesha asked as soon as she answered her phone.

“Why didn’t you tell me you knew Asaru?” he asked, getting straight to the point.

She hesitated for a few seconds. “I couldn’t tell you.”

“Why the fuck not?” he angrily questioned.

“I can’t talk about that over the phone babe. But calm down, it’s not what you’re thinking.”

“Maaaannnn,” he angrily exaggerated.

“Babe, I promise it ain’t like that. But he real good people. I promise I’ll explain everything. Okay?”

“Aight,” Savage sighed.

“I love you Najair,” Aleesha cooed.

He loved the way his government name sounded coming out of her mouth. Even though he wanted to be mad at her he knew he couldn’t and a slight smile spread across his face. “I love you too.”

“Bye, babe,” Aleesha said before she hung up the phone.

“We good?” Asaru asked as Savage put his phone in his pocket.

“Yeah, we good. So did she tell you to come work wit’ me?” Savage asked apprehensively.

“Nah, I came to you because yo sound is the type of shit I want for my mixtape.”

“I thought you didn’t record songs? You was all about battle rappin’.”

“Yeah, but I ain’t really got no competition out here,” Asaru arrogantly stated. “Once I go through a few more dudes and get to Swave Sevah, there won’t be anyone else. So shit, I need something else to do.”

“Aight, I feel you,” Savage agreed. “Who else producin’ for you?”

“Shit, nobody. You the first one to even know I’m tryna put out a mixtape.”

“Aight, well shit I know you on a time schedule so if you wanna get in the booth I got some shit already in mind for you.”

“Good lookin’.”

Aleesha was surprised Asaru told Savage that they knew each other. She wanted to call him and cuss him out, but she had more important things to worry about. She sat waiting in her office in 4Twenty for Cali. She knew she needed to end things once and for all, and today would be that day.

Cali called her a few minutes later letting her know he was outside. She met him at the door and led him to her office. They both stood looking into each other’s eyes for a few moments, until Cali spoke up.

“Why did you call me here, Aleesha?” he asked halfheartedly.

“It would have been simpler to do this over the phone,” she admitted, “but I felt like I owe you a face to face conversation at least.”

“Cuh, I already know where this shit is goin’,” he stated irately.

“You really should,” she agreed. “None of this is right. Cali, what we have is toxic. There’s no way we can be just friends. That night was a mistake and I fucked up, so before it gets any deeper, we need to let this go.”

Cali pulled her in and began kissing her. Aleesha wanted to push him away but she couldn’t. Everything in her mind was telling her it was wrong and to stop, but it was like her body had a mind of its own. She felt herself tug at his jeans and knew that it was a mistake but she couldn’t help it. He backed her into her desk, pushing her to sit on top of it, and she unbuttoned his jeans. Just as she was about to pull his dick out, Cali stopped her and they stopped kissing but their lips remained touching.

“Aleesha, what’s not right about this?” he asked, staring into her eyes. “What’s wrong wit’ what we’re doin’ if we love each other?”

Aleesha didn’t want to answer him, especially after she got a whiff of his body scent. She didn’t know what type of cologne he had on but whatever it was, was intoxicating. Her pussy instantly got wet and she felt the need to be wrapped in his arms while he fucked her. She tried to kiss him and tug at his pants but he turned his head and pushed her arms away.

“Answer me,” he said as he looked her in the eyes again.

She let out a frustrated sigh. “Because I’m married.”

“So what that mean? Tell me you don’t want it.”

Aleesha wanted him more than ever right now, but she knew it wasn’t right. She looked down at the floor as she tried to push him away but he didn’t budge.

“Aleesha, tell me you don’t want it,” he demanded, his deep voice sending sexual chills down Aleesha’s spine. “Tell me right now you never want to see me again and I’m outta yo life for good. You won’t have to worry about none of this shit no more.”

Aleesha looked straight into his hazel eyes. She didn’t realize how painful it would be to let him go but she had to do it. Tears began to form in her eyes and she wondered why she felt the need to hold on to him for so long, until memories of their relationship began to play in her mind.  The moments they shared when they first met and first got together began to flash through her head. She thought about how good their relationship was and how he was always there when she needed him, but then she began to remember why they broke up. “Why did you give up on me so quick?” she unexpectedly asked.

“What are you talkin’ about?” he asked, standing up straight.

“After you told me about your daughter and we broke up, you never tried to fix things. You left and never once tried to come back.”

“Cuh, you was already back with that nigga,” he replied heatedly.

“We didn’t officially get back together until I knew you were with your baby momma.”

“I was never with her.”

“Obviously you were if she was answering your phone,” Aleesha stated matter-of-factly. “You never let me answer your phone.”

“When did she answer my phone?” Cali asked, utterly confused.

“A couple days after we broke up. I called you and she answered telling me not to call you anymore. I wasn’t about to argue with a bitch over the phone and I’m not the one to break up a happy home, so I said fuck it and got back with Savage.”

“Man Aleesha,” he sighed and put his head down before looking back up at her. “I was never with her. I’m thankful that she blessed me wit’ my daughter, but she was just another bitch to me,” he shamelessly admitted.

“Then why didn’t you try?” she asked as her lip began to quiver.

“I’m not the type of nigga to keep fightin’ over a female.”

“You were supposed to fight FOR ME, Cali!” Aleesha shouted in an outrage as a tear escaped from her eye right eye. “You promised me you were different and you promised you wouldn’t hurt me like he did but you did me even worse,” she said as another tear escaped before she wiped the tear streak away.

Cali softened up a little. He could see the hurt in her eyes and it was the most painful look he had ever seen. “I’m sorry that I couldn’t be the nigga you wanted me to be, but shit, I tried,” he admitted. “I loved you, Aleesha, and I’d be lyin’ if I said I still don’t. But if you wanted to be wit’ me you would have.”

“Cali, you had a baby on me!” she screamed. “Why would I have wanted to stay with you?” she angrily asked. She couldn’t stop the tears from coming down her face now.

Cali looked down at the floor. He wished he didn’t have to have this conversation because he knew he couldn’t tell Aleesha what she wanted to hear. He looked her in the eyes and could only be truthful about the way that he felt. “If you loved me as much as you say you did, you would have. You was supposed to be my ride or die.”

“Cali, do you hear yourself?” Aleesha asked in disbelief. “How was that fair to me? You told me you wanted me to have your baby, I was supposed to be the mother of your child.”

“Cuh,” he said, looking at her in shock, “it ain’t like I didn’t try and make you it either. I would say I regret that it happened with Passion but I don’t. I love my daughter. Do I ever wish that she could have been yours? Hell yeah,” he said honestly, “but she wasn’t. I still would have loved for you to be in my life, but we can’t always get what we want.”

Aleesha couldn’t believe what she was hearing. She knew nothing good would come from this conversation, and even if it did it wouldn’t change anything. She had to let him go. “It doesn’t matter. What’s done is done and we both need to move on.”

“So what you sayin’?” Cali asked sorrowfully. He didn’t want to hear what he knew Aleesha was about to say, because deep down he would always love her and he knew he couldn’t leave her alone.

Aleesha looked him straight in the eyes. “I don’t ever want to see you again,” she stated coldly.

Cali’s feelings were hurt but he didn’t want to show it, so he just nodded his head. “Aight.” He buttoned his pants back up, and was out the door.

Aleesha sat in her office crying. She didn’t realize how much pent up anger she had been holding onto for all this time but she was happy she finally told Cali how she really felt. She wished they could have remained friends but knew that because of their history it would never be possible. After about an hour, she finally pulled herself together. She had to distract her mind so she focused on making sure everything was ready for the bachelor party being held that night.

***

By nine p.m. the bachelor party was in full effect. Aleesha usually stayed behind the scenes and watched everything from the camera feed in her office, but she decided to view the party firsthand. She made her way into the main room of the lounge and there were men everywhere. She was really surprised at how many of them were in attendance because she never expected a bachelor party to be so big. She looked around for Mykel and once she spotted him, she was able to get his attention and signaled for him to come over to her.

“How are you enjoying things so far?” she asked once he walked up to her.

“Everything is real coo’. I appreciate the effort you and ol’ girl put into this,” he said with pure admiration.

“No problem. It’s a lot more people in here than you had on the list,” she said, looking around the room then back at him.

“Oh, I hope that ain’t a problem. Mah nigga Killa Kam just got out,” he said, pointing to some dude across the room, “so I had to invite him and a few more niggas so we could celebrate.”

“No it’s not a problem at all. Now the food may be another story,” Aleesha said, and the two shared a laugh.

“Nah, that’s all good don’t even trip.” He perked up. “But where the strippers at?”

“Oh, you ready to get shit crackin’ right now?” Aleesha asked in amusement.

“Yeah,” he said with a big grin plastered across his face.

“So I guess no one told you about all the girls working in here tonight?” Aleesha asked as she raised her right eyebrow at him.

“What you mean?” he asked, confused.

“All of them are strippers. Just go up to one of them and tell them you’re the groom.”

“Real shit?” he asked, surprised.

“I promise.”

“Even you?” Mykel flirted.

Aleesha burst into laughter. “Nah.”

“I was just fuckin’ around,” he said, laughing with her. “Good lookin’ though.”

“I’m just doing my job,” Aleesha said with a smile.

Mykel walked away and walked straight up to one of the servers. After whispering in her ear, she put her tray on the nearest table, sat him down and began to give him a strip lap dance. All the men began gathering around and started going wild seeing her twerk and slow grind while stripping naked. And once she was fully naked and popped her pussy in his face while in a handstand, everything got rowdy from there.

Another one of the girls walked up to the girl who was dancing with Mykel, pulled her up to the pole and they began putting on a show for the men. All the woman on woman action was causing the men to go crazy. So much so that a fight broke out of nowhere. One thing led to another and before Aleesha could even think about trying to stop it, gunshots started ringing out. Everyone started running and dropping to the floor as security tackled the shooter from behind, but it was already too late. Two people had been shot.

The police and the ambulance were there in no time. Everyone except Aleesha was cleared out of the building so the crime scene wouldn’t be tampered with. Of the two people that had been shot, one was the groom’s brother and the other was the stripper. The brother had been fatally shot and was dead on the scene and the girl was in critical condition.

After answering a few questions, Aleesha led the officers into her office and showed some video footage to the police. The altercation started because the groom’s brother snatched a bottle away from the already drunken man, and they began fighting, causing the drunken man to pull out his gun and start shooting wildly. Aleesha vowed from that day forward that no more alcohol would be served at the lounge, and everyone would be patted down before entering. And after a few long hours passed and the crime scene was finally cleaned up, Aleesha was able to lock down the building and go home.
