[1] Teel is a drink made from the ether eggs of North Teel Ants. Traditionally served with a tincture of compressed healing magic.

[2] Grinswer is the race to which Rikaral and Brakvar belong.

[3] Dorrah is the common inter-server currency introduced in the past era. It looks like a small, hollow crystal filled with spiritual energy obtained from the depths of particular servers. The crystal’s color is indicative of how much energy it can accommodate.

Except for its use as currency, dorrah is valuable as a mind development resource.

[4] The Destroyed World is a ММОRPG that was released one year before The Dark Gate.

[5] Tinorrs are a long-living race with a long history tracing back to the Thundergiants from the Blinding Storm Server (currently lost). In the age of Admins, two Tinorrs have been known to achieve the Warden rank and another was rumored to be approaching the Champion.

Tinorrs are known for their explosive temper, attributed by many to their Thundergiant heritage. Anyone joining their service has to be extremely careful not to anger them.
