Ingredient Table of Correspondences
Here is a listing of vegetables, herbs, fruits, grains, and other ingredients found in the supermarket. Not all of these are used in recipes in this book, but I have chosen to include as complete a listing of items as possible for easy reference when you want to create your own mixtures. You can also discover the magical potential of other recipes found in ordinary cookbooks or online.
Each ingredient is listed by name with corresponding element, planet, polarity, and magical uses included; some items have more than one association. The polarities listed will be along the yin/yang axis which I find less limiting than the “masculine/feminine” dynamic frequently used in herbal reference works. Not every listing contains information on planet, element, or polarity. This is because some items have a universal alignment.
