SUZIE BOWER SIGHTED
After nearly six months with no news, Lilli and Michael Bower, distraught parents of missing teenager Suzie, 17, have had their hopes raised by a reported sighting of their daughter.
Maria Bianchi, 10, of Ellis Heights, identified Suzie as being the young woman who spoke to her on her way home from school yesterday. Maria claimed that Suzie asked her to come play, but having been warned to go straight home, Maria refused. Maria described Suzie as looking sad but well. She said that Suzie told her to hurry on home.
Sheriff Byron Mitchell has stressed that, as yet, there is no evidence to support young Maria’s claim. But, faced with increasing calls for results from Losien residents, newly appointed Mitchell told this reporter that the search for Suzie and the other four missing children will continue with all the resources at his disposal.
