SUZIE DEAD! BODY FOUND IN FOREST.
Sheriff Byron Mitchell today confirmed yesterday’s reports that the body of teenager Suzie Bower has been found. Woodsman, Eric Spielman, 28, made the grim discovery when he was exploring an area of forest approximately ten miles east of Losien. Spielman found the body in a deserted cabin and immediately alerted the authorities. Suzie had died as a result of a powerful blow to the head and it appears that her killer had made some attempt to destroy the evidence of his crime.
Police Chief Mitchell, extended his sympathy to Suzie’s family for their loss and urged townsfolk in Losien and the surrounding county to remain vigilant until this killer is caught.
Sheriff Mitchell also confirmed that his men are currently searching both the cabin and the surrounding area. However, he would not comment on whether he was linking the still as yet unsolved disappearance of the four Losien children to Suzie’s murder.
