Matthew 19:16–26
Later, aoung man asked, “What shall I do to have eternal life?”
“Keep the commandments,” Jesus answered.
“I’ve kept all ten. What else is there?”
“Sell everything. Give the money to the poor. Come and follow me.”
When the young man heard this, he sadly walked away. He was very rich.
Jesus spoke to his disciples: “Can a camel go through a needle’s eye? That’s how hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom.”
“So who can be saved?” they wondered.
“To you, it’s impossible,” he answered. “But God can do anything.”
