Acts 28:23–28
Many Jewish leaders from Rome listened to Paul, morning to evening. By the day’s end, they were arguing among themselves.
“The Holy Spirit was right,” Paul said. “He said this to your ancestors: ‘They’ll listen but won’t catch my meaning. They’ll see but won’t understand. Your words will do them no good. They won’t use their eyes to look. They won’t use their ears to hear. They won’t understand with their minds, turn to me, and be healed.’
“So I want you to know this: God’s salvation has been sent to the Gentiles. They’ll listen.”
Questions: What did the Jewish leaders do after they heard Paul? What did Paul say about God’s salvation?
