Day 57

Inside the Tabernacle

Exodus 35–40

Inside the tabernacle were two rooms: the holy place and the holy of holies. The entire tent was forty-five feet long, fifteen feet wide, and fifteen feet high.

In the holy place were three things: a gold table with twelve loaves of bread; a gold lampstand with seven lamps; and an altar for incense. The holy of holies was the inner room. Only the high priest could enter here. It held the ark of the covenant—a gold-covered box. Inside it were the two stone tablets. This room was God’s dwelling place.

Questions: How many rooms were in the tabernacle? Which room was God’s dwelling place?
