Joshua 6:1–27
God said to Joshua, “I’ve given you the city of Jericho.” He then told Joshua how to defeat the city. It was done God’s way.
Israel’s army went to the city as if to fight. With them went priests holding trumpets made of ram’s horns. The ark of the covenant was carried along as they marched. For six days, while the trumpets blew, they marched around the city once. On the seventh day, they circled the city seven times. When Joshua ordered, Israel shouted! Then Jericho’s wall fell down flat, and they took the city.
Questions: Who decided how to defeat Jericho? Who blew the trumpets?
