W e show you a thumbnail sketch of the plot and teachings of the Book of Mormon and give you the rundown on what Mormons believe about the Bible. You also get a taste of the other major books that Mormons regard as scripture: the Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price. Then we go on a whirlwind tour of LDS Church history, from the early days in Ohio, Missouri, and Illinois to the great pioneer trek that led the Mormons to Utah. We also lift the veil on the history of polygamy, which Latter-day Saints no longer practice, and highlight Mormon trends in the 20th century.
