Paper written by Adolpho Lutz (Oswaldo Cruz Institute) in collaboration with his daughter Bertha Lutz (Museu Nacional). Presented to the Brazilian Academy of Sciences on May 10, 1938, the paper was published in June of that same year in Annaes da Academia Brasileira de Sciencias (v.10, n.2, p.175-94), with 7 drawings by Antônio Pugas and P. Sandig. The first part is entitled “On Hyla aurantiaca Daudin and Sphoenochynchus Tschudi and on two allied Hylae from South-Eastern Brazil” (p.175-85) and the second part (p.185-91), “Two new Hylae." The paper offers a “Summary” in Portuguese (p.191-3) and, lastly, a bibliography (p.193-4). A note states that “all types described in this paper are at the Instituto Oswaldo Cruz.” [E.N.]
