The year 2020 has been a strain for all of us. We have lost friends and family to the Covid virus and as we go into the second wave here in South Africa, and elsewhere, I’ve got my fingers crossed that we’ll see a turnaround soon.
Six things I’ve learned during lockdown.
1. A video chat, though fun, is not as satisfying as the real thing.
2. I don’t have to go shopping; number one son will do it for me. Have list, will shop. LOL.
3. Pajamas are super comfy to wear all day, every day.
4. I miss Sunday lunch with my Mum and the sibs.
5. Stock up on Gin, you never know when they’re going to ban alcohol again!
6. To wear a mask, keep 1.5 meters away from people, and sanitize everything!
I’ve always had a huge personal space bubble, so keeping my distance from people isn’t a problem for me. Hello, I’m a hermit. LOL.
Now onto the thank you’s.
An enormously huge thank you goes to Dani, my daughter, for the wonderful covers and teasers. Love you babes.
Don’t worry boys, I didn’t forget about you. Thanks for the support guys, love you loads.
To my cousin Pieter, love and huge big hugs for your unfailing support.
Love and hugs to my Mum for her love and support from the start of my journey as a writer.
To my beta reader and critic, Mari, thank you for everything you do for me, big hugs.
And to a new lady on my team, Jayne. Thank you so much for the advice and talking me through a lot of the oh shit moments during the writing of this book. I appreciate your candor and advice and love of my characters. And wanting them to have piercings. LOL.
And finally, to my readers, thank you for your support and enthusiasm, and as I’ve said before, if not for you the Iron Dogz MC wouldn’t exist.
Stay safe and stay healthy until we meet again.
