Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park is the most visited theme park in the world with 21 million visitors in 2019. Magic Kingdom Park was the first theme park built at Walt Disney World.
Guests arriving at Magic Kingdom Park by car park at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) parking lots. Once parked, you can either catch a tram or follow the pedestrian walkways to the TTC. At the TTC, you should purchase your park entry tickets if you have not done so already.
Then, choose one of two ways to get to the theme park – the Monorail (either the Express line or Resort line) or the Ferryboat. A bus option is also occasionally offered. Within less than 10 minutes, you will be at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom. During peak season, you will have to in a queue line to board the monorail or a ferry here.
The parking lots for all the other theme parks at the Walt Disney World Resort are located by the park entrances, and are thus much easier to navigate.
Parking is charged at the following rates (per day): Cars or Motorbikes - $25. Taxis, Limos, Campers, Trailers, RVs, buses, or Tractor Trailers - $30. Preferred parking is $50.
Disney resort hotel guests can waive the parking fee by scanning their MagicBand at the parking toll plazas.
Disney resort guests arriving by complimentary transportation (bus, monorail or boat) will arrive directly at the entrance to Magic Kingdom.
COVID-19 CHANGES:
At the moment as well as needing a park ticket, you also need a Park Pass Reservation for the first park you wish to visit each day - do this at www.DisneyWorld.com. Face coverings are required for guests ages 2 and up at all times at the parks except when eating while stationary. Guests will be temperature screened to enter the park. At the time of writing all parades, shows and fireworks are suspended. FastPass+ and Single Rider lines are suspended at all parks. Other offerings may be reduced or suspended.
