Hawaiian & Smoky BBQ Pizzas
EACH VERSION SERVES 6–8 PARTY PEOPLE
Pizza is one of those all-time party favourites. These raw vegan versions are zinging with flavour, so make loads of them to share — I promise you, if your peeps like pizza, they’re gonna love this one!
Hawaiian
6–8 small Pizza bases
1 batch Tomato sauce
320 g (11¼ oz/2 cups) diced pineapple
500 g (1 lb 2 oz/2 cups) Coconut bacon, sliced into 1 cm (½ inch) strips
155 g (5½ oz/1 cup) diced red capsicum (pepper)
1 large red onion, sliced into super-thin rings (I use a mandoline for this)
90 g (3¼ oz/2 cups) baby English spinach leaves, finely shredded
1 batch Aged macadamia cheeze, blended with 50 ml (1¾ fl oz) water, then transferred to a squeeze bottle
Smoky BBQ
6–8 small Pizza bases
1 batch Smoky BBQ sauce
500 g (1 lb 2 oz/2 cups) Coconut bacon, sliced into 1 cm (½ inch) strips
1 handful Eggplant pastrami
155 g (5½ oz/1 cup) diced red capsicum (pepper)
90 g (3¼ oz/2 cups) baby English spinach leaves, finely shredded
155 g (5½ oz/1 cup) pine nuts
1 batch Caramelised onion
1 handful Smoky BBQ kale chips
1 batch Aged macadamia cheeze, blended with 50 ml (1¾ fl oz) water, then transferred to a squeeze bottle
