Oh sweet, sweet, sexy dessert. The meal that usually wins over the toughest critics. The one we turn to in both our darkest and brightest hours.
I’ve always been very wary of people who don’t ‘do’ dessert — to me, it’s kind of like saying you don’t ‘do’ pleasure. In all seriousness though, dessert doesn’t have to be ‘bad’ for you. It can be indulgent and rich and sensual, and just really damn nice, without the detrimental effects.
The recipes in this chapter are all free of refined sugars and nasty filler ingredients, yet full of flavour and love. They also happen to be gluten free, and entirely made from plants.
Creamy stuff without actual cream? Say what?!
