For years, the US government has been talking about changing the patterns on the dollar bill. This would be quite disruptive to money folders, as often the markings are used to suggest features. This cat uses the scrollwork to the right of the eagle to suggest eyes. But even with plain paper, this cat exudes pure feline looks.
1 Valley fold in half.
2 Valley fold in half.
3 Valley fold the corner.
4 Valley fold up to meet the upper edge.
5 Unfold along the center.
6 Valley fold the corner.
7 Valley fold up to match the edge behind.
8 Unfold along the center.
9 Precrease.
10 Collapse along the existing creases (Waterbomb Base).
11 Swing one flap up.
12 Precrease the top flap.
13 Valley fold along the angle bisector.
14 Swing down along the existing crease.
15 Swing the flap down.
16 Repeat steps 11–15 at the top.
17 Turn over.
18 Precrease.
19 Precrease along the angle bisectors (top layer only).
20 Rabbit ear.
21 Mountain fold the flap in half.
22 Spread squash the flap. The inner layers will fold in along existing creases.
23 Mountain fold the corner.
24 Pleat the flaps up.
25 Crimp the flap up.
