NO BAKE PROTEIN BARS
This is a popular recipe that I have seen many places, a great sweet healthier snack or treat for kids (and us )
2 c. creamy almond butter, cashew butter or tahini
2⁄3 c. honey or maple syrup
½ c. applesauce
2 c. vanilla or chocolate whey protein powder (or mix vanilla and chocolate)
1 c. oats
½ c. flax, sesame or chia seeds

Preheat oven to 375
In large glass bowl, mix nut butter, applesauce and honey. Set in oven until mixture is liquid form or close to
Stir, then add protein, stir, add oats, stir, add chia, stir
Cut and store refrigerated, makes 24 bars
