GS! SIMPLY HAMBURGERS

Does it get any easier than this?!

SERVES 4

1 lb. lean ground beef, you can also use venison, elk, turkey, or tempeh

1 pkg. of sprouted whole grain hamburger buns

1 egg

½ c. dried Ezekiel bread crumbs (leave a couple slices out to dry, or just toast them and crush into crumbs)

½ tsp. of both sea salt and black pepper

Toppings:

1-2 heads of green leaf lettuce

1 red onion, sliced

2 tomatoes, sliced

Sliced cheese, optional

Ketchup, Mustard, BBQ sauce, Hoisin sauce, whatever your pleasure!

Method

In a bowl, combine all ingredients together with your hands (except buns 12827.png)

Take ¼ of your burgers and roll up into a ball, then press it flat using the palms of your hands

Place on a plate to cook on the stove in a skillet, or on a sprayed baking sheet for the oven at 350 degrees, or on the grill!
