FROSTING – WHITE/VANILLA OR CHOCOLATE
If you need frosting, do it right. I will whip some up and freeze it until I need it next. If making cupcakes or a big cake, use it all and double the GS! Yellow Cake recipe.
SERVES 24
White/Vanilla Frosting:
5 tbsp. organic white flour
1 c. 1-2% milk
6 tbsp. butter, softened
½ c. raw honey or organic sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Chocolate Frosting:
2 tbsp. organic white flour
3 tbsp. cocoa powder
1 c. 1-2% milk
6 tbsp. butter, softened
½ c. raw honey or organic sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix flour and milk (and cocoa, if making chocolate) together in a small pan. Stir and cook over medium heat until consistency is thick and smooth
To soften butter, heat up the oven and place butter in a bowl to get soft, almost melted. Mix together softened butter and honey or sugar with a mixer until creamy, then add flour mixture
Beat/mix together until no grains are left and consistency is smooth, then add 1 tsp. vanilla and mix in
