Sugar Free Peanut Butter Cups
There is nothing like a little peanut butter to go with the wonderful flavor of chocolate. Yum! Peanuts and cacao powder contain high amounts of antioxidants. Put them together and POW, you are fighting disease with a terrific tasty treat. These chocolate peanut butter cups are just like the store bought ones …only way healthier!
Makes 20-25
Ingredients
Coconut oil.....½ cup, melted
Raw cacao powder..... ½ cup
Rice malt syrup..... 1 tablespoon
Coconut cream..... 2 tablespoons (the more you use, the harder the chocolate texture)
Smooth natural peanut butter..... ¼ cup
Sea salt.....large pinch
Chocolate wrappers…..these are the brown wrappers that cover chocolate bars. You can buy mini’s for your peanut butter cups.
Directions
In a medium bowl, add the coconut oil and cacao powder.
Mix the ingredients together then add the rice malt syrup and coconut cream.
On a small tray, arrange the chocolate wrappers.
Pour a thin layer of the chocolate mixture into the chocolate papers then freeze for 5-10 minutes.
Be sure keep this treat cold or it will melt.
