Sidney Blumenthal is a regular columnist for The Guardian of London and Salon.com and has been a staff writer for The New Yorker and the Washington Post. He is the executive producer of a film on the Bush administration’s torture policy that was awarded the prize for best documentary at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival. Blumenthal served as assistant and senior adviser to Bill Clinton and is an adviser to Senator Hillary Clinton. His previous books include The Permanent Campaign (1980), The Clinton Wars (2003), and How Bush Rules: Chronicles of a Radical Regime (2006). He is currently a Senior Fellow at the New York University Center on Law and Security.
