ABOUT THE AUTHORS
This book was written jointly by Roni Edlund and her partner, Damo Mitchell. Both are full-time practitioners of the Daoist internal arts and together they run the Lotus Nei Gong School of Daoist Arts.
RONI EDLUND
Roni Edlund met her partner, Damo Mitchell, while travelling through South East Asia in 2007. Shortly afterwards, she moved to the UK from her home country of Sweden and has since been practising the Daoist arts with Damo and several of his teachers in Asia. Roni Edlund has a passion for the Yang system of Taijiquan and the Cheng method of Baguazhang as well as her practice of Nei Gong. Alongside this, she also has a degree in acupuncture and Chinese medicine, which she sees as an integral part of her internal studies.
Roni Edlund teaches alongside Damo on larger retreats and events as well as running her own classes and courses around Europe. Many of these courses are specifically for women and cover the material outlined in this book.
DAMO MITCHELL
Damo Mitchell was born into a family of martial artists and thus began his studies when he was four years old. Since this time he has practised the martial and spiritual arts of Asia extensively, practices that he now passes on in the Lotus Nei Gong School of Daoist Arts. Damo has written several other books on the subjects of Daoist Nei Gong and Nei Dan but can only claim to have taken a supporting role in this book because it was the personal experience of Roni Edlund, taken from her practice, that really enabled this book to be written.
