Dark Chocolate–Covered Pretzels

Who doesn’t love chocolate-covered pretzels? Have these on hand when you need a sweet and salty fix.

Ingredients

Makes 12

3 ounces dark chocolate chips

1 tablespoon vegetable shortening

12 gluten-free mini pretzels

  1. Melt chocolate and shortening over a double boiler. Stir until smooth and combined.
  2. Remove from heat. Dip each pretzel in chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  3. Place on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper and chill in refrigerator until firm.
