Choc-Toffee Truffles

Makes 20

• 140g packet Werther’s Originals hard toffees

• 200g milk chocolate, chopped

• 1/3 cup (80g) thickened cream

• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 1/4 cup (30g) cocoa powder

Place the toffees into the thermo bowl.

Add the chocolate, cream and vanilla.

With 1 minute remaining, remove the MC and add the toffee dust. Use the spatula to mix the mixture together, then refrigerate in the thermo bowl for 30 minutes. Line a baking tray with baking paper and using a teaspoon, roll the mixture into balls. Sift the cocoa onto a shallow dish, and roll the balls lightly to coat. Place on the prepared tray and refrigerate for another 30 minutes or until firm.
