Makes 1 loaf
• 350g lukewarm water
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 2 tablespoons (30g) sugar
• 600g bakers flour
• 14g dry yeast
Place water, salt and sugar into the thermo bowl.

Add the flour and yeast in that order.

The dough should come together, using the spatula, spoon the dough into a lightly oiled large bowl. Cover with cling film and set aside in a warm place (I placed mine on a sunny bench) for at least 30 minutes or until it has doubled in size.
Preheat oven 220°C. Turn the dough out onto a paper-lined baking tray. Glaze with milk, sprinkle with sea salt and bake for 30 to 40 minutes.

TIPS: I want to share a couple of really simple, useful tips I learnt when starting to bake bread.
• A Thermo only kneads for 2 minutes, it’s an automatic timer when the knead function is selected
• Always use lukewarm water
• Never allow the salt and yeast to come into contact … Salt deactivates the yeast
• Always allow the dough to rise in a warm 22–25°C place (even on cooler days).
