• 1/2 Spanish onion, peeled and halved
• 2 cloves garlic
• 400g can chickpeas, drained
• 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
• 1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes
• 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
• 2 tablespoons (30g) plain flour
• 1 teaspoon cumin
Preheat oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper. Place all the ingredients into the thermo bowl and season.

With wet hands, shape the mixture into golf size balls. Transfer to the baking tray and spray lightly with olive oil. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, turning half way through.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Falafels are delish served in a pita bread with Hummus and salad, or as a main drizzled with a nice, Homemade Tomato Sugo and salad.
