• 1 orange, skin on and quartered (remove seeds)
• 1 cup (230g) butter
• 3 eggs
• 1 cup (200g) sugar
• 2 cups (350g) self-raising flour
Preheat oven 180°C. Line a 20cm springform cake tin with baking paper. Place the orange and butter into the thermo bowl.

Pour the mixture into the cake tin. Bake for 50 minutes or until cooked.
TIP: An easy way to check if your cake is cooked is to insert a toothpick in the middle of the cake and have it come out clean.
