Base 1
• 1 cup (160g) raw almonds
• 10 pitted dates
• 1/2 cup (60g) moist coconut flakes
Place all ingredients into the thermo bowl.

Using the spatula, scrape the mixture out into a 20cm pie dish, press it into the corners of the base and chill for at least 30 minutes.
Base 2
• 11/2 cups (250g) plain flour
• 125g chilled butter, cubed
• 1/3 cup (80g) caster sugar
• 1 egg yolk
• 2 tablespoon (30g) chilled water
Combine flour, butter and caster sugar into the thermo bowl.

When the mixture is looking like breadcrumbs, add the egg yolk and water.

Using the spatula scrape the dough into a paper-lined pie dish and press into place. Add some nutmeg or cinnamon for flavour.
