Magnets

This is one of those super-easy projects that you can start and finish in just minutes! The most time-consuming part is looking at all of your corks and deciding which prints to feature.

You will need:

* Assorted printed corks

* Coping saw

* Sandpaper

* Hot glue gun

* 34" round ceramic craft magnets

  1. Select the prints on the corks that you want to use. The printing can be on any part of the cork. Using the coping saw, cut corks into rounds, sections, or lengthwise halves—whichever method helps feature the printing. Gently sand the back and edges. Wipe off any dust.
  2. Glue the magnets to the back of the cork pieces and you’re done!
OPTIONS!

If you are looking for something to do with the kids, you could have them paint whole corks with nontoxic craft paint. Let them play with the colors, mixing and painting however they like. When they dry, draw on some simple faces with markers. Glue on some googly eyes and you’ve got some funny faces for the fridge!
