Amish Wedding Casserole Serves 350

Shopping List

28 Chickens

8 Pounds Butter

1 Pound Lard

6 Teaspoons Pepper

28 Crocks of Bread Cubes

56 Eggs

28 Teaspoons Salt

3 Crocks Chopped Celery

Melt butter and lard together in a very large pan. Add liver, and gizzards + hearts (from the chickens) to the butter and lard mixture. Brown and cool that portion.

Beat eggs and add eggs, pepper, & salt to the first mixture.

Add bread cubes, celery & meat to the previous mixture and bake all together, at 250 degrees, for 1 ½ – 2 hours.
