Roasted Walnuts with Maple Syrup and Cinnamon

INGREDIENTS

½ cup walnuts

2 tablespoons maple syrup

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1 pinch sea salt

2 cups sheep’s milk yoghurt

500g sheep’s milk yoghurt

METHOD

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 160°C.
  2. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  3. Place the walnut mixture on a baking tray and place in the oven for 10 minutes.
  4. Leave to cool for 30 minutes.
  5. Serve the yoghurt topped with ¼ cup walnuts in a decorative glass.

Tip: This dish needs not be treated as just a dessert, try it as a pick-me-up snack!
