THREE INGREDIENT SALTED CARAMEL SAUCE

Makes approx. 240 ml (8 fl oz)

170 ml (5½ fl oz) coconut nectar or maple syrup
65 g (2 oz/¼ cup) almond butter, plus 2 tbsp extra
¼ tsp sea salt

This is such a delicious and easy version of a salted caramel sauce without all the butter and refined sugar. Great for drizzling and dipping.

Simply mix the ingredients together until well combined. Store in an airtight container and keep it in the fridge until ready to use. The sauce will thicken over time. It will keep for up to a week.
