MANGO, COCONUT AND TURMERIC LASSI
Serves 1
1 banana, peeled and frozen • 2 tbsp coconut yoghurt
½ mango, peeled and destoned • 375 ml (12½ fl oz) tinned coconut milk, chilled (thick part only)
½ tsp ground cinnamon • ¼–½ tsp ground turmeric
1 tsp coconut oil
Toppings:
Whipped Coconut Cream
banana slices
1 handful of raspberries
Here is such a delicious combination of frozen banana and mango with a kick from the powerful spice, turmeric. Turmeric makes an unusual but delightfully surprising smoothie.
Simply blend everything together in a blender or food processor until smooth. Pour into a glass, layered with the Whipped Coconut Cream and serve topped with the bananas and raspberries.
