Shield for Invisibility

This invisibility ritual was incredibly useful in a prison environment, where you don’t want to attract any more notice than you absolutely have to. I learned this technique from reading John Michael Greer’s books. By invisibility I do not mean that you will literally vanish and become transparent to anyone looking at you. It’s more like a kind of camouflage that allows you to blend into the world, so that people take no notice of you unless they are looking specifically for you. After working with it for a while, I simplified it even further by eliminating the use of tools and the ceremonial format. While nowhere near as eloquent as John Michael Greer’s ritual, I found that my own version provided more than adequate results.

It essentially works exactly the same as the previous shielding techniques where you enclose yourself in an egg-shaped bubble of light, but this time we visualize it as being a deep, inky black (black being the color associated with the planet Saturn).

The effect will wear off after a few hours—the time will vary depending on how much energy you put into it and how adept you become at it.
