MAKE A GRATITUDE LIST

Writing down what you’re grateful for leads to better overall health and happiness (studies prove it!). And it can also help you pay more attention to all the things you’d otherwise take for granted. Maybe you’re grateful for your parents, for helping to pay your way through college or always encouraging you to do your best. Or maybe you’re grateful for the little things, like free laundry in your dorm building, a new candle that makes your room smell like home, friends who make you laugh, or canceled classes on a snowy day. Even thinking of just one thing every day can go a long way to changing your perspective for the better. And the act of writing it down makes you more aware of its impact on your life. Gratitude is like a remedy for any suffering you might experience. Take a minute to jot down anything that makes you feel thankful whenever you need a little spiritual adjustment.
