LIGHT A CANDLE

Candles symbolize light in the midst of darkness, and they’re used in many religions as a part of ceremony or worship. Some faith traditions view candles, fire, and lamps as a mode of celebration related to deities, a ritual to connecting to the spiritual world, or a way to set an intention for spiritual reflection. You can light a candle to request healing or say a prayer—by yourself or with others. Candles in different colors can be lit for specific intentions, too, like lighting an orange candle to promote creativity during a writing assignment, or a pink candle to send love and good vibes to a struggling friend.

One disclaimer: your school may have an open flame policy, so you may need to bring your candle outside, or save it for off-campus housing. You can also use a diffuser or flameless candle instead, or see if your school offers any candle-lighting ceremonies.
