STAY IN

These years are the time to live it up and have nonstop fun—which is great, until you’re worn out from a week of studying and classes and would rather stay in for a change. You might feel guilty, or pressured to still drag yourself out for a night off campus, but it’s perfectly normal (and sometimes necessary!) to spend some nights not being social or “on” with other people. Rather than going to a party, campus event, or dinner with friends, hang out in your dorm when you feel like you need to recharge. Maybe you just chill out with a book, listen to music, or catch up on sleep. You might prefer to stay in with your girlfriend or boyfriend, or have a relaxing night on your own in front of the TV. Sure, it may not be as Instagram-worthy, but staying in is all about feeling good and giving yourself the emotional care you need.
