Is there a spy in the house of love? Rather than telling the nosy neighbors and Peeping Toms to take a long walk off a short pier, craft up a clever privacy screen that artfully gets your veiled threat across while letting sunlight in and keeping your secrets safe. In this quiet undersea crime wave, an ever-so-subtle, cement-booted silhouette contemplates a peaceful repose as he sleeps with the fishes. Could there be a more perfect watery imagery for your bathroom window?

SUPPLIES

Scissors

Removable vinyl adhesive paper

Masking or painter’s tape

Newspaper or tracing paper

Spray frost

HOW TO

1. Enlarge the template to your desired size for your window and cut it out.

2. Use a pencil to trace the design onto the vinyl adhesive paper backing and cut it out.

3. Temporarily tape the paper templates to your window to determine final placement.

4. To create a water line at the top of your window, draw on newspaper or tracing paper a wavy pattern that is 4 at least inches deep and the width of your window. Cut out and tape the paper water line onto the top of the window.

5. Peel the vinyl fish and mystery man stickers off their backing and apply them to the window.

6. Follow the manufacturer’s directions to coat the windows with spray frost. To get a crisp image, you’ll want to use at least two coats.

7. When the frost is completely dry, peel the stickers and the wavy pattern from the window. After your hard work of crafting and scheming, you’ve earned a bath. Recline back in the tub and contemplate how lovely hot water can be when you get into it willingly and how pleasant it is when you can keep your head above it.
