From the Salvadoran pupuserias to the glut of Ethiopian eats to the frat house scene along 18th Street, these two neighborhoods are a microcosm of the District. Adams Morgan has long been the nightlife destination for college students and Hill interns. Mount Pleasant has fewer offerings, but those there are laid-back sanctuaries.
