Heather nibbled on her bottom lip as trepidation continued to brew in her belly.
She was conflicted. She wanted to embrace more of her wild side, but at the same time, this would be the first time Asher would see her naked.
Her heart pulsed noisily through her ears and drummed at her temples. Her inhibitions were hanging on by a thread. Asher looked so tantalizing as he swam bare assed in the water. He was alluring.
“Come on,” he grinned and pushed his slick hair back.
“I don’t know...” Heather trailed off. The offer was tempting, but she was still leaning on the more vanilla side of the fence.
He friskily splashed at her ankles and calves with some of the water. “You only live once. Just join me. I promise I won’t bite.”
“Famous last words,” Heather chuckled, but she removed her shoes.
Asher hollered with exuberance. “She has taken her shoes off!” He shouted into the air and to an invisible audience.
“Don’t get too excited.” Heather laughed and sat down in the same lawn chair where Asher had flung his clothes.
“You are already halfway wet,” Asher pointed out, gazing at her bare legs.
“That’s true.” Heather nodded.
Her legs weren’t the only place on her body that was getting damp. Her panties were saturated, and it all stemmed from her attraction to Asher. He lived on the edge, that much was obvious. His zest for life thrilled her and only furthered the intense craving she had for him.
She inhaled deeply. “Alright.” She nodded and stood up, shifting her weight against sudden lightheadedness. “You win. I’ll get in.”
“Naked?” Asher sounded almost too hopeful.
“I certainly don’t want to swim in my clothes,” she said.
She took off her dress first; in one swoop, it was over her head. She blushed and stood there as an intense vulnerability shook her. It was an erotic, highly intimate moment.
She stripped off her bra. Asher stared at her, admiration and lust darkening his eyes.
“Beautiful,” he whispered, more to himself than it seemed to be for her benefit.
His approval was enough to continue to persuade her in the process. She shimmed out of her underwear next. There she was, standing in front of him naked but not afraid in the slightest. The appreciation in his eyes made her feel like she was on top of the world.
“You’re like a work of art,” he told her as he swam closer to her.
“Do you really think so?” She studied his face. His enthusiasm for her naked body was as genuine as they came.
“Yes.” He nodded and swam closer to her, but she taunted him by going the other way.
“Where are you going?”
He extended his arms as if he wanted to capture her and run his hands all over her. She wanted that too, but something about the chase made the situation more exhilarating.
“I should have told you,” she casually mentioned. “I was on the swim team in high school.”
Asher chuckled as he struggled to keep up with her. “I don’t doubt it.”
When he finally caught her, she started breathing hard. Their naked bodies were slick under the water. Her thigh grazed against the side of his groin. She felt his hardness. She held her breath and waited for him to kiss her.
Before he had a chance to make a move, the door on the opposite side of the pool opened. A wrinkly couple wearing matching white terrycloth robes emerged from another staircase. When they noticed Asher and Heather, they stopped dead in their tracks. They stood there frozen on the concrete as if they didn’t know how to react.
The woman’s mouth gaped open in shock. Heather murmured but couldn’t form words.
“Come on,” Asher said as he bolted out of the pool and placed his wad of clothes protectively as a shield over his private areas. “I’m sorry,” he frantically waved to the couple.
“Oh my God, this isn’t happening.” Heather reached out for the sturdy grip of Asher as he pulled her out of the pool.
She grabbed her clothes and ran to the same spiral staircase that they had climbed up before. She never even looked back to see if the elderly couple was still staring at them in horror.
Once they reached the safety of Asher’s apartment, he was laughing hysterically. He grabbed a remote off a side table and pressed a button in the center. At once, his window blinds began to go down.
Heather stood on his hardwood floors, freezing and dripping water. “I thought you said they never come out there?” She cried, wondering if this had been some cruel trick after all.
Asher shook his head sincerely. “I swear. They never use that pool.”
“I guess I’m just bad luck,” Heather shrugged.
She was falling from her high, fast. In fact, she was probably going to crash and burn back to reality in a matter of seconds.
“Don’t be silly,” Asher told her. “Wait right there.”
He jogged off, leaving a puddle of water in his tracks. He disappeared down a hallway. Heather tried to dry her body with her clothes, but her dress wasn’t big enough or absorbent enough to get the job done.
“Here you go.” Asher came running out of the same hallway a few seconds later. He was carrying two white fluffy towels.
He handed one to her and wrapped the other around his waist. Heather began to pat herself dry. “Thanks,” she murmured. “My heart is still beating out of my chest. I thought I was going to pass out back there.”
“Don’t you love the rush of adrenaline?” Asher said.
Heather looked him up and down. His handsome jawline was set. His eyes were stunning. He had a perfect set of abs. She wanted to graze her hand up and down the valley of muscles on his torso.
“I guess now it’s not so bad,” she admitted as she continued to climb back down to earth. “I’ve never been skinny dipping before.”
“Before those old geezers ruined the fun, did you at least enjoy yourself?” Asher moved closer to her.
“Yes.” Her throat was tight. Desire raced in her mind. All she could do was squeak out one simple word and nod her heavy head, thick with lust.
“Let me make it up to you.” Before she knew what was happening, his arms were wrapped around her waist. He was sturdy and masculine. He instantly warmed her up.
“Okay,” she nodded. She gave up on ever trying to guess what kind of shenanigans he might toss her way. She would just have to be along for the ride.
“Let me draw you a warm bath,” he said in a seductive voice.
“Alright.” Heather was still at a loss for words. She swallowed hard and continue to stare at him.
He smiled. “Follow me.”
He led her to his master bathroom. Inside, he placed his hands on her arms and gently stroked them up and down.
“I want to make it up to you in another way,” he whispered. “I want to give you a special kiss.”
Heather knew exactly what he was talking about. Her thighs burned with longing. God, did she crave him. Her cheeks were hot. The rest of her body tingled. She nodded as he tenderly pushed her legs apart and crouched down on his knees.
He slipped his between her pussy lips. She craned her neck and let out a primal moan. She grabbed onto the top of his head and tugged at his hair. He was her rock. She needed to grab onto his head or else she would collapse from the pleasure.
His tongue explored between her legs, lightly grazing over the tip of her clitoris. His mouth caused an intense ache to burrow deep within the sensitive flesh. Her thighs began to tremble under the eruption of bliss shaking her to the core.
His tongue continued to swirl in sensual circles between her legs. Sensual moments passed, each second pushing her closer to the edge. Suddenly, the orgasm burst loose, flooding her with pleasure. Digging her fingers into his hair, she cried out as the ripples rocked her. Squeezing her thighs together, she pushed him away and rode out the last few pulses of deep pleasure. Legs wobbly, she sat on the edge of the tub and braced herself on the palms of her hands.
“Oh, God,” she hummed after a few moments.
Asher had the smug look of a man who knew he’d done well. Reaching around her, he turned on the bath, tested the temperature, and let the tub fill. He found a small bottle of bath beads, poured them into the water. She watched with foggy amusement as he prepared the bath for her, then took her hand and helped her in.
“You’re being awfully romantic.”
Asher winked and cleared his threat. “Don’t tell the guys.”
She leaned back against the wall of the deep tub, her body buoyant as she settled into the soothing water. “Thank you for this.
“I’ll see you when you come out.” Asher gave her a little bow and left the room, closing the door behind him.
She was confused as to why he didn’t seem to want to get in the bath with her, but she decided to just take a few minutes to relax and wash her hair. Asher was being the perfect host tonight in his home, but did that kind of treatment come with a price? She had been burned in relationships before, and she had been through heartbreak in the last one that she was still trying to recover from.
But that orgasm.
When he went down on her, the entire world melted away. She could get addicted to that kind of treatment. She sank her body into the bath and submerged herself under the water for several seconds.
She opened her eyes under the water and stared up at the ceiling through the wet veil. What was she doing? She was in some rich rock star’s apartment. Had she lost her mind, or was she exactly where she was supposed to be in the universe?
Normally, she didn’t like to go that deep into her thoughts or her spiritual realm, but she had a calmness wash over her as soon as Asher had finished going down on her. Everything was going to be okay. She felt it in her bones.
A few minutes later, she climbed out of the tub, dried off and pulled her dress back over her head. She opened the door to the bathroom and found Asher fully dressed and standing by the floor to ceiling windows that offered panoramic views of the city below.
He had his back turned to her and his hands were stuffed in his pockets. When she captured a side view of him, she noticed how nostalgically he gazed outside.
“Sorry to interrupt,” she pattered gently over to him.
He turned to look at her as if she were a breath of rejuvenating air in her lungs. It made her heart skip a beat. “How was your bath?”
“A little lonely,” she smiled.
“Sorry,” he chuckled. “Bath’s aren’t really my thing.”
“Right. You’d never live that down if the rest of the band knew. Next time if you want to jump in with me, it can be our little secret.”
He cupped her jaw with his hand and turned back to the view. She found herself standing beside him, nearly breathless from the night skyline dotted with golden lights.
Asher seemed relaxed, subdued even. “I like to watch the city at night. Wonder what everyone is doing down there. What secrets they’re keeping.”
“Hmmm, that sounds kind of suspenseful.”
He grinned.
After a few moments of silence between them, Heather spoke again. “I should get going.” She pointed her thumb behind her shoulder in the direction of the front door.
Asher frowned with disappointment. “It’s late. You can spend the night here if you want.”
Heather smiled politely. She wasn’t ready to go down that road just yet. She still had to keep her emotions in order. “That’s a very sweet offer,” she began, “but I have some things to do in the morning.”
He looked even more handsome when he was brooding.
His voice went low, the tone displaying how much he was disappointed that she was leaving. “At least allow me to call you a cab.”
“That would be fine.” She smiled warmly.
“You know what?” He plucked his cell phone from his back pocket. “I’ll do you one even better. I’ll have my overnight security guy bring you home. All I have to do is send him a text and he’ll be here within fifteen minutes.”
“Now that’s what I call curbside service,” Heather quipped.
Exactly fifteen minutes to the dot later, Asher’s doorbell rang. Heather’s eyebrow formed a peak.
“I’m impressed.”
“Are you sure I can’t convince you to stay?” Asher asked.
Heather studied his features. His eyes flashed with an intensity that both thrilled her and scared her at the same time.
“I can’t stay...” she trailed off in a hushed whisper. “I’m sorry. I really should be going.”
She turned around after squeezing his hand. She was afraid that if she looked back, she would change her mind. He let go of her hand with a little groan, the door shutting softly behind her as she stepped into the elevator. Below, in the car, she watched the night go by as the driver navigated the city streets.
“Good night, Asher” she whispered to herself as the driver pulled up to her building.
She unlocked her door and stepped into the quiet apartment. Stephanie must already be asleep. Heather pattered carefully to her room and silently pushed her bedroom door shut. She got undressed in the dark and peeled her sheets back.
She wrapped her body up in a protective cocoon. When she closed her eyes, she trembled with pleasure at the memory of Asher’s tongue gently stroking across her throbbing clitoris. She let out a soft sigh of contentment and buried herself between the sheets, but the memories flashing in her vision weren’t enough.
Heather had an emptiness festering in her heart. She should have stayed with Asher, but her mind wouldn’t let her forget that easily. She had just been through a breakup that she was still recovering from. She couldn’t open her heart all the way until the wounds had healed.
She allowed her mind to wander. She pictured Asher curled up beside her with his arms snaked around her naked body. It was the only mental picture she could give herself in order to get to sleep.
