What You’ll Need: clear base and top coat; white nail polish; yellow, brown, light and dark pink, and white acrylic paint; gold glitter nail polish; fine-tipped brush
1. Apply a clear base coat.
2. Apply two coats of white polish on each middle fingernail.
3. Using a fine-tipped brush and yellow paint, draw a horizontal oval for the nose. Using brown paint, draw two vertical ovals for the eyes and draw the whiskers.
4. Using light pink paint, paint an oversized bow at the top right corner of each middle fingernail. (See this page.) Once the bow has dried (about five minutes), outline the bow with brown paint.
5. For the plaid, draw vertical lines inside the bow using dark pink paint.
6. Once the vertical lines have dried (about five minutes), draw horizontal lines inside the bow using dark pink paint.
7. Using white polish or acrylic paint, draw white vertical lines next to the dark pink vertical lines. Then draw white horizontal lines next to the dark pink horizontal lines.
8. Using a fine-tipped brush and gold glitter polish, draw vertical and horizontal lines next to the white lines from Step 7.
9. On all the remaining fingernails, paint a dark pink bow at the top right corner of each nail using the fine-tipped brush. After the bows have dried (about five minutes), outline the bows with brown paint.
10. Once the bows’ outlines have dried (about five minutes), use a fine-tipped brush to apply gold glitter polish to the inside of each bow (not the outline) on all the fingers. Apply a clear top coat to all nails.
