What You’ll Need: clear base and top coat; taupe or beige nail polish; black, white, and light brown acrylic paint; fine-tipped brush
1. Apply a clear base coat.
2. Apply two coats of taupe or beige polish on each nail.
3. On the index finger, draw Chococat: Using a fine-tipped brush and black paint, draw a half-moon shape at the nail bed and fill it in.
4. Using black paint, paint two triangles for the ears on either side of the half-moon shape. Chococat will appear to be peeking out from behind the nail bed.
5. On a palette, mix white and light brown paint to make a cappuccino color and draw a small triangle inside each black ear.
6. Using a fine-tipped brush and taupe or beige polish, paint a small circle for the nose. Using white paint, draw two white circles for the eyes on either side of the nose, then, using black paint, make a dot in the center of each eye and draw two whiskers on the left side of the face.
7. On the ring finger, repeat Steps 3 through 6 but flip the character (as shown) so that he will be upside down when you look at your hand in front of you.
8. On all of the nails, use a fine-tipped brush and black paint to paint a black polka dot pattern, avoiding the characters.
9. Apply a clear top coat to all nails.
