DONT SPOIL
YOUR APPETITE!
A few minutes later, Uncle Samuel S.
Stingysnout called everyone into the dining
room. He held up his paw for silence. Then
he made a speech. “Dear beloved relatives,
the wedding ceremony will take place just
three days from now. Tonight we will have
what I like to call a light dinner. This way
you will not spoil your appetite for the grand
wedding CELEBRATION!”
We were all starving. We hadn’t eaten a
regular meal since we left home.
“It’s about time we nibbled some cheese!”
Trap grumbled, knotting his napkin
around his neck.
