WALK IN THE GARDENS
Sure, they’re seasonal—Maine isn’t the tropics—but if you catch them at their peak, the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay are spectacular.
Sitting on 270 acres of tidal shore land, the Gardens adds a newly planted area each year, an ever-changing display of art, as well as a permanent sculpture collection by regional artists. The Botanical Gardens also offers art exhibits, talks, tours, and other programs in the visitor center.
